2021 Kutztown Folk Festival To Remain Virtual

72nd Annual Kutztown Folk Festival to Remain Virtual

KUTZTOWN, PA – (March 16, 2021) – The Kutztown Folk Festival announced that its 2021 event will once again be virtual.

The Festival's Board of Directors has released the following statement:

"Out of an abundance of caution for the health and well-being of our event participants, the 72nd annual Kutztown Folk Festival will be virtual. We are committed to returning in 2022 with an enhanced, in-person Festival that expands upon the existing model. We hope to build a true community event, steeped in our region's rich history, that showcases our current, vibrant local businesses, artists and artisans. In the meantime, we hope to host smaller, in-person events in the late summer and early fall, including an in-person quilt sale and seminar."

In the coming months, the Festival's leadership will collaborate with community partners to create an exciting event for the entire region in 2022. In the weeks leading up to and including June 26 through July 4, 2021, the Festival will focus on virtual engagement. Updates from many of the event's colorful craftsmen, entertainers and long-time participants will be posted on social media throughout the week, as well as archived videos, photos, and stories from prior years.
