The many children's events at the Festival delight all ages. The Children's Farmyard Theater has wonderful puppet shows, singalongs, story times, a magician, a ventriloquist and others. There are craft and play areas, pony rides and a 19th century horse-drawn carousel. One of the most popular attractions is the Children's Petting Zoo where kids and adults, can feed and pet the wonderful, tame farm animals. Traditional games are also featured along with a hay maze and the Hex Express-a train fashioned from 55 gallon drums and pulled by a tractor.
